Overview:

The Business/QA Analyst will work closely with multiple teams, including Product Management, Web Development, Legal, Corporate Communications, and various Lines of Business, to ensure that our external websites meet stakeholder requirements and expectations.

In collaboration with stakeholders, this role will focus on documenting and implementing website improvements, while playing a vital role in coordinating with cross-functional teams across regions. You will assist in developing the product backlog and managing the overall health of our project progress.

This role operates within a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), so experience with Agile practices such as team-based ceremonies (standups, sprint planning, retrospectives), managing multiple teams, and familiarity with Agile Release Train events like PI planning is essential.

Candidates should have at least 10 years of experience in a Business Analyst or QA role, including 5+ years working in a Scaled Agile environment. Familiarity with tools like Jira, GitHub, and Confluence is required.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Management / Business Analysis:

  • Ensure solutions are effective across regions, considering non-US requirements.
  • Collaborate within a cross-functional, Scrum-based Agile team, driving towards a minimum viable product (MVP) within set timelines.
  • Work with business stakeholders to understand and document content management processes, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Create comprehensive user stories in Jira and contribute to test case development.
  • Assist in change management, including creating training content, delivering training, and communicating new content management solutions to business users.

Quality Assurance:

  • Partner with the QA team to develop regression and performance test cases, prioritizing test automation.
  • Test web properties, track and manage defects, and ensure adherence to quality and accessibility standards.
  • Monitor and resolve web issues, ensuring final products meet functional requirements.

User Acceptance Testing, Beta Testing, and Hypercare/Adoption Support:

  • Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure the product meets specified requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams during beta testing to identify and resolve issues, and work with developers to reproduce and fix errors.
  • Engage with users to address issues and provide guidance on product usage.
  • Monitor and audit processes to maintain quality standards.
  • Work with Product Owners to identify and document risks, defining mitigation strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in Business Analysis or QA, with at least 5 years in a Scaled Agile environment.
  • Experience in sports, media, or entertainment sectors is preferred but not required.
  • Proficiency with Jira, GitHub, and Confluence is essential.
  • Strong listening, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Ability to quickly learn new business domains and workflows.
  • A passion for expanding knowledge and expertise in the field.
